Six overtures in French style. One of the few works by Erlebach that have been passed down to us, these pieces are surely a magnificent example of late 17th c. Middle-German orchestra music.
Each overture is composed of six voices (Premier + Second Dessus, Haute Contre, Taille, Quinte and Basse). They are supplemented by several “Trios”.
